COACHING
 Bywell shooting Ground would be delighted to introduce you to the sport of Clay pigeon shooting. You won’t need a shotgun or a certificate to take your first lessons as it’s all included in the price. Once you feel confident enough to go it alone the excellent shop has all the kit and caboodle you will need including shotguns (from around £400.00 - £20,000.00!).
Whilst we all could improve our skills to enjoy our sport to the full, lots of us just shoot for fun, with winning not as important as to taking part and having fun. Whatever you prefer we strive to improve your shooting skills so everyone gets a buzz from of shooting.
Why not come and have some lessons to brush up on your technique and iron out any bad habits before the game season starts. Don’t wait till the season starts get organised. One or two sessions with one of our qualified coaches will just do the trick, so you can be confident and ready for the start of the season. Ladies and children are made very welcome we use suitable coaching shotguns that have very little recoil and are suitable for ladies children or why not have a joint family lesson, It’s always good to start your child off with good safe gun handling techniques, which they will remember forever.

Safety aspects of gun handling and ammunition are carefully explained and practised at Bywell. We hold a Northumbria Constabulary exemption certificate, allowing you to shoot with out shotgun certificate under our supervision.
